This country has developed the most sophisticated national system to bring foods from every part of the country and the world to our local supermarkets. Yet, there is a growing trend in just the opposite direction: bringing locally grown foods to nearby consumers. National grocery chains, for example, are beginning to develop more local sources of supply, working directly with local farmers. On this edition of AGRICULTURE USA Gary Crawford reports on the growing phenomemon of "local foods".
