Brandon Wu
Brandon Wu is the director of policy & campaigns at ActionAid USA, where he oversees policy advocacy, coalition building and campaigning work on issues such as climate justice, land rights and food systems. He leads ActionAid USA’s work on climate justice in particular, approaching the problem of climate change from the perspective of global equity and the rights of impacted people. His work in this capacity has focused on climate finance to support adaptation and address loss and damage in developing countries; fairness in the global climate regime; and policy and narrative responses to climate-induced migration and displacement.
Brandon has served on the Board of Directors of Climate Action Network-International, a network of almost 2,000 NGOs in 100 countries, and served a two-year term as the first elected developed country civil society representative on the governing Board of the Green Climate Fund, a multilateral institution dedicated to funding adaptation and mitigation projects.
