It reviews the current reform proposals in the Codex decision-making process and makes recommendations to Codex and its parent bodies, the World Health Organization and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, to enhance consumer and public participation in Codex.
Dr. Steve Suppan has represented IATP at Consumers International and served on several Consumers International delegations to the Codex Alimentarius Commission and Codex committees.
