Listen to a special podcast of Pakou Hang of HAFA, and IATP's Erin McKee talking about the forum and local food work in Minnesota:
Join the Hmong American Farmers Association (HAFA) and their allies for a discussion about the intersection of food, farming and community wealth building with governor candidate, Congressman Tim Walz* on Wednesday, October 24 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the HAFA Farm. RSVP Here!
Directions to the HAFA Farm:
The HAFA Farm
20385 Coates Blvd.
Vermillion Township, MN 55033
The HAFA Farm is approximately 25 minutes from Saint Paul. It is located past the intersection of Highway 52 South and 200th Street in Vermillion Township. When you pass the intersection, the HAFA Farm will be on your right-hand side. Begin to slow down after the speed limit sign and turn right into our long driveway. Follow the signs to park behind the barn.
*Governor candidate, Commissioner Jeff Johnson, was also invited for this discussion, but his schedule did not permit a farm visit. He has expressed interest in meeting with immigrant farmers and allies after the election.
