Jane Kretzmann

Jane Kretzmann is a Senior Fellow in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota. Prior to assuming this position in July 2011, Jane worked as a senior program officer for the Minnesota Community Foundation and the Archibald Bush Foundation in Saint Paul, Minnesota for over 20 years. Her grant making, which included major support for IATP, encompassed a wide range of health and human services programs, and she has led the design of initiatives in early childhood development and environmental health. She served on the Management committee of the national Environmental Grantmakers Association, and is widely known and highly respected in the Minnesota philanthropic community. Jane served as Minnesota’s state refugee coordinator at the Minnesota Department of Human Services between 1978 and 1988. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Iowa.
