Highlights from NACEC trade and environment symposium now available online
Montreal, 16 October 2000--Highlights from the North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation's (NACEC) two-day symposium, Understanding the Linkages between Trade and Environment, are now available online through the NACEC home page .
The highlights include a summary of the panel discussions, photos and audio clips. In addition, the NACEC Trade and Environment web page provides a detailed outline of the symposium sessions. NACEC was established by the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) environmental side accord to build cooperation among the NAFTA partners in addressing the opportunities and challenges that continent-wide free trade presents in the protection of the North American environment.:
