In 1999, article 27-3b of the TRIPs Agreement, dealing with the extension of intellectual property rights over life forms and processes, shall be reviewed. Since most of these life forms and processes belong to or involve biodiversity, the topic must be evaluated in the wide context of the biodiversity issue. That is our first and principal claim.
