Pakistan will urge world nations at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (Unctad) conference being held in Brazil from today to encourage innovative measures to promote a fair trade and investment.
This was stated by Federal Minister for Privatization and Investment Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, while talking to reporters at the inauguration of a metal sculpture by a famous artist Amin Gulgee here on June 8.
He said the conference would discuss ways and means to introduce innovative measures for trade and investment promotion on the globe.
"Every country gives its views at the conference about how to promote trade and investment, and I will present Pakistan's point of view and suggestions on this subject," Dr Hafeez added.
He said more than 100 countries from around the world would attend that conference organized by the Unctad every four years.Asia Pulse:
