Harry Shearer's The Big Uneasy

In 2005, a disaster struck New Orleans. You know the rest. Or do you?

On Thursday, September 8, at 6:45 pm, please join IATP and the Izaak Walton League for a screening of "The Big Uneasy", Harry Shearer's eye-opening, award-winning documentary about why New Orleans didn't have to flood after Katrina, and why continued errors in judgement and engineering by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers could lead to another disaster.

We'll follow the 98-minute film with a short panel of experts (local and from the Gulf Coast) on water quality and river management for questions and answers about not only what happened after Katrina, but also about the threats we face here in the Upper Midwest.

Tickets are $5 and will be for sale at the Riverview Theater the day of the screening. Contact Emily Barker at ebarker@iatp.org for more information.
