IATP partnered with Rural Coalition/Coalicion Rural, National Family Farm Coalition, Washington D.C., Missouri Rural Crisis Center, Columbia, MO. and Federation of Southern Cooperatives/Land Assistance Fund, Atlanta, GA. to send this letter to all interested parties. This is an invitation to join the sponsoring groups in a dialogue to develop a transnational Farmer and Rural Community Oriented Agriculture and Food Policy, the purpose being to jointly develop policies and present them to the respective national governments and to ensure the needs and interests of each community was represented. This letter contains an examination of NAFTA's role in deregulation and the resulting impacts on agriculture in Canada, Mexico and the U.S.
