IATP participated in the UN climate talks (COP 24) held in Katowice, the coal region of Poland, in December 2018. While the energy sector got the headlines, many attendees grappled with how best to deal with climate impacts to agriculture, as agricultural emissions are nearly a third of all global emissions. IATP followed how parties dealt with agriculture in this COP.
