IATP's"Sustainable Crop Production Principles" identify the base values that need to be met in order for crop production to be considered sustainable. Developed in conjunction with a wide and diverse group of stakeholders that included farmers, industry representatives, scientists and consumer and environmental advocates, these principles reflect not only what is desired in terms of product origin, production and quality, but more importantly, what shared goals and objectives sustainable crop production should be based upon.
