United Farmer and Rancher Congress
January 15, 1988
In the past 15 months since the United Farmer and Rancher Congress, farmers and ranchers have continued their work organizing and educating citizens and lawmakers about their vision of a successful farm policy. This work has had a direct impact on both national and state legislation aimed at relief and recovery for family farmers. Some of the policy recommendations endorsed by the UFRC have been drafted into legislation and are moving through state legislatures and the U.S. Congress.
