Pete Huff

Director of Food Systems

Pete worked at IATP on food system issues from 2013 to 2016.


Pete Huff has been involved with food systems for the past ten years, working on a variety of levels spanning from organic production to policy development. His work has primarily been in the nonprofit and local government sectors of the United States and Australia. While in the United States, his work focused on organic market gardening and agroecology apprenticeship program development in California. In Australia, he focused on school garden programs, food waste reduction programs and urban agriculture policy on the local and state level. He has a B.S. in environmental management and a B.A. in history from Indiana University-Bloomington. He is an avid gardener, bee keeper and cook.
