Katie is the Farm to Institution Program Assistant, a registered dietitian and founder of Foodwise Consulting. Her lifelong passion for food was inspired by her mother, an incredible cook and staunch advocate of family meals. After a short-lived career in finance, she returned to graduate school to focus on nutrition. In 2015, she obtained a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota and a registered dietitian (RD) credential. Her interest in childhood nutrition and health equity led her to an internship at Parents in Community Action (PICA) Head Start, where she currently serves as a consultant dietitian.
